Background

Serving on several theatre faculties including Auburn University, the University of Miami, and Florida Atlantic University, Lynn has imparted her invaluable experiences to aspiring artists within the realm of higher education. Beyond academia, she has inspired artists of all ages through workshops, fostering creativity and passion across diverse communities. She believes deeply in the endless potential within each person, inspiring them to chase their creative dreams with passion, curiosity, exploration, and a deep connection to the world.
For Lynn, adventure isn't just a pursuit; it's a way of living large, embracing the unknown with both fear and exhilaration which are essential dynamic qualities inherent in heightened language, such as Shakespeare's works and musical theatre. These forms of performance demand a bold approach, as they require the performer to create vocal and physical size while still maintaining truth. Through guided exercises and immersive experiences, participants learn to harness the exhilaration that comes with stepping into the unknown, ultimately enriching their performances and artistic practice.
In addition to her academic career, Lynn has taught workshops at Douglas Anderson School of the Arts, Jacksonville, FL; G-Star School of the Arts, Palm Springs, FL; The Florida Theatre Conference, Imagination Stage, Washington, DC; Arena Stage, Washington, DC; Sidwell Friends School, Washington, DC; Michael Howard Studios, NYC; Flagler College, St. Augustine, FL; Jacksonville University, FL and has privately coached students for auditions all over the country.
